Chocolate
appreciation (1 to 2 hours)
Your team will unite in this unique workshop for one reason… chocolate!
You’re in for a real treat with this workshop where your team will gain insights into the business of producing
award-winning products. Discover how quality chocolate, like fine wine, has notes, textures, fragrance and fantastic side
effects. Watch, listen, taste and transfer these pearls of wisdom to your own business sector. Our facilitators for this
activity have won the Royal Show’s overall Champion Chocolate exhibit and were recently named NSW’s Champion
Confectionary Outlet.
The rhythm
circle (min 1 hour)
Experience a one of a kind experience using African drums.
The real magic of this workshop comes from the profound sense of connection these leaders bring to every group they work
with. Together, a Master Percussionist and an African Drum and Dance teacher create an awesome foundation
for a team to create music and memories together. Authentic, hand-made African drums are provided, making this is one of
our most popular activities with some clients booking the second and third workshops.
Living
stories (30 mins to 1 hour)
If you believe stories are for children, think again!
John May and Emily Cooper will mesmerise you while they ignite your imagination with a living story. Emily entices you
into the story by dancing the character’s unique journey while John conjures up a mythical backdrop using drum rhythms
and voice. Stories can be a retelling of real events relevant to your group or they can be an ancient or modern tale from
another part of the world.
Stretch
your mind~body (30 min to 1 hour)
Be guided through basic yoga postures to reconnect with yourselves.
For a team under pressure, an instructor-led yoga class is an ideal way to release stress and tensions, to reconnect with
one another and to regain a sense of purpose and imagination. No experience is necessary to practise these gentle yoga postures,
stretches and breathing exercises. Mats and props are provided.
Galileo
~ star-gazing (evening event only)
Gaze at the stars in the Blue Mountains.
When did you last count the rings on Saturn? Or watch the turning of the moon? Imagine standing on the edge of an escarpment
facing a sea of stars, moons and distant planets. With a knowledgeable astronomer to answer your eager questions, you’ll
be fascinated as you experience the drama that unfolds every night above our heads.
Combine this activity with starlight story telling or fire juggling to complete or begin your evening with a real sense
of wonder. (Please note, viewing the stars is subject to weather conditions.)
