Ridiculous team building activities
Choose from a storehouse of ridiculous options for your team to experience. For those who dare to
juggle fire, use their bodies as percussion instruments, dance or be Spooky Men, these team activities are bound to become
a talking point for many years. Then the only question on everyone’s lips will be: "how can we top that next year?"
The
rhythm method (30 mins to 1 hour)
A groove-based workshop using body and vocal percussion.
Led by an experienced leader with a ridiculous sense of humour and a great feeling
for getting the best out of people. Together you’ll explore a variety of funky styles using body and vocal percussion,
falling in and out of the groove. All you need to bring is a voice box, some feet and a penchant for having fun. This will
be a trip in sounds and stomps that will leave your toes tapping, your cheeks tingling and your heart light.
Tribal
team (2 hours)
Choreograph and perform your own crazy team dance.
Watch an African Dance Band perform with fully costumed dancers to get
the energy in the room pumping. After their brief but powerful performance it is your turn. Teams have an opportunity to
practise a routine with easy-to-follow steps, partly created by the dance teacher and partly by the group’s own creativity
and craziness. Then it is performance time with prizes for the top two teams.
Light
my fire!
These guys will certainly light your fire!
With specialised skills in the fire stick and fire poi, The Flaming Idiots perform, inspire and teach. Your team will
watch these exciting performers and then engage in an experience of learning the art of fire juggling.
Spooky
Men’s Chorale (30 mins to 2 hours)
The quest for the perfect subwoofer-rattling boofchord.
Based on the twin pillars of grand foolishness and the quest for the perfect subwoofer-rattling boofchord, the spookies
comment on the absurdity and grandeur of the modern male. They have performed to general delirium at many festivals around
the world as well as appearing on the ABC. It is unclear what is more dangerous to your happiness, missing them or not.
